Swoddharak Vidyarthi Sanstha’s Dondaicha Since its establishment on 29th June 1921, Swoddharak Vidyarthi Sanstha has remained steadfast in its mission of delivering quality education to empower women—especially those from rural, remote, and drought-prone regions. With a strong foundation laid in the pre-independence era, the institution stands tall with its guiding motto: “Udharedatmanatmanam”, which means “Elevate the self through one’s own mind and efforts.”
In response to the evolving landscape of education and the growing demands of a globalized world, the institution has consistently adapted its vision. Recognizing the urgent need for higher education in science and technology among women in this underrepresented region, Hon’ble Shri Jaykumarbhau Rawal took a visionary step. Under his guidance and with his gracious consent, the first women’s science college in the Dhule district was inaugurated on 5th August 2012 — a landmark initiative dedicated to nurturing scientific temperament and academic excellence among female students.
While numerous educational institutions continue to emerge in and around Dondaicha, Rani Maa Saheb Rawal Mahila Science Mahavidyalay remains uniquely committed to its foundational values. The college stands as a beacon of integrity, dedication, and academic rigor, assuring both students and parents of its unwavering commitment to quality education.
In a rapidly advancing technological world, where competition is fierce and opportunities ever-changing, this institution pledges to uphold the legacy and promise encapsulated in its motto: “Udharedatmanatmanam” — Empowering the self, through the self.
Hon. J. J. Rawal (Chairman)
